Your membership
Standard costs US$15 per month and includes 120 minutes (2 hours) of connected voice coaching and 400 written coach replies. Premium costs US$30 per month and includes 300 minutes (5 hours) of connected voice coaching and 1,000 written coach replies. Both plans are charged in US dollars and renew automatically each month until cancelled. Your bank may charge currency-conversion fees. Existing Founding Member subscriptions retain their original price, currency and allowances unless a change is agreed. Unused allowances do not roll over. Automatic written move explanations count as text replies. Voice time includes time connected while listening or thinking; disconnect voice when you finish.
Free trial
One trial per person: 3 minutes of voice and 30 text replies, with no card required. The voice countdown starts on the first voice connection and continues if you disconnect. Text has no countdown. Trials depend on the available trial budget. A trial does not automatically become a paid subscription.
Cancellation and renewal
Open Memberships, then Manage membership / cancel, to cancel before your next renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your paid billing period. You retain your remaining allowance until then. If you cannot access cancellation, email us before renewal so we can help. Cancellation does not by itself refund a previous payment; see our refund policy.
Early-access changes and availability
Starting allowances are provisional while running costs are measured. Any price or allowance changes will be explained before a future renewal, with an opportunity to cancel. The allowance already paid for in a current billing period will not be reduced. Coaching may temporarily pause during maintenance, provider outages, or site spending limits. Contact us if an interruption prevents you from using a paid allowance so we can arrange an appropriate remedy.
Learning and account use
The coach uses AI and Stockfish to explain chess. AI explanations can contain mistakes; no rating improvement or competition result is guaranteed. Use the coach for learning, not to obtain outside assistance in games where this is prohibited. Keep your account and recovery code private. Do not share an account, automate requests, evade trial limits, or misuse the service.

Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Our privacy notice explains how coaching and account data are used.
